how close are the practice exams that EC officers to the real exam?

Please report feature for any advertising in the BB threads immediately so we can remove as not the place for it.

Thanks,

Well, I guess Rob's got yet another member name! Can't we get this guy kicked off permanently? All he ever does is run ads and clutter up the threads.

Note to everyone--please search for and read any post about Excel Advantage or Academy of Nursing.

See how embarassed he must be of his own organization? The real names of his little group don't come up until testamonials at the end..... and we all know about testamonials....

This is just more sleeze from the same source.

I just learned that my nursing school is not going to allow students to go part time. I just got promoted at work to a semi-managerial position, I already have my B.A. but need my R.N. I'm already taking the basic intro course.

I prefer and need to work my way through it to pay for "food and the electricity". :chuckle

Does anyone have any distance programs websites I could compare or an honest experience they can relate without violating the "rules"--I'm new. :nono:

wannabetoo- send a private message to a member here called New Castle Ken- he's researched all the distance programs and has written books, etc. on the subject. He could probably give you some great advice- he's a great resource for these programs. Good luck! BTW, I am a very happy Excelsior ASN student. I will be getting my BSN (and possibly MSN) through them after I'm finished with the ASN. I hear good things about Deaconess as well.

Spongebob- the EC practice exams (on the EC website) are well worth the $, and very close to the actual exams. Write down the ones you miss, so you can home in your focus on what you need to study further on. I did the practice tests for NC 1-3, adn got As on all of them. Good luck!

Oh for crying out loud, that dinkus Rob is still at it?!?!? :rotfl: What a riot! Doesn't he (and all the other publishing company fools) know that we are on the prowl and a post by them won't last more than a few seconds on the boards???

I wish I could answer your question from personal experience, Spongey, but EC came out with those just as I was finishing up. From what I have heard though, they are pretty darn good.
