Nurses General Nursing

Working in the medical/psychiatric field for over 40 years was a very big part of my life, many so-called good & bad situations occurred during those years.
Now that the game is over, I've made it into a board game based on Monopoly, with a board showing all the facilities where I worked, Davey Do pieces (RN & LPN), Fate cards and Administration cards, and a point system, based on my hourly wage.
Basically, the dice are rolled, and the pieces move around the board. If they land on a facility, the player is awarded the wage, varying from 8 to 33 points. However, if the land on a "Follow the Fates" or "Go to Administration" space, the player needs to pull a card from one of over 70 which are typewritten true describing personal & professional life experiences, where they may win or lose from 8 to 50 points. The first player to get 500 points is the winner.
I've played this game by myself and with others multiple times, and the results are interesting, in that an LPN can win over an RN. RNs make more points landing on a facility space than an LPN, but they don't have as big as repercussions. For example, I bought my first house as an LPN in 1986, paying $22,900 (-25 points) and built my current home as an RN in 1991 paying $56, 500 (-50 points).
This has been an enjoyable week-long art project, using various forms of media including acrylic paint on canvas & oven baked clay, and typewriting & ink stamps on cardstock.
A game of Davey Do-Opoly, anyone?

I love this! I would definitely play! Do we get points/money for passing Go like in traditional Monopoly?

Thank you for your interest, sss. Also, thanks to Karen, Elfriede, Susie, and TMB for their support.
No, the GO space is where the players start, where they get to roll again if they land on it during the game, or are sent there by the Fates & Admin cards to wait out a turn.
Merely by landing on a space, other than the Fates & Admin spaces, the players are paid just by showing up at the named facility, just like in real life.
The Fates & Admin cards have numerous positive and negative scenario outcomes, where points are gained or lost, again, just like in real life.
I've test played this game with my wife and niece, and as I said in my initial post, it's amazing how close the point spread is, since I randomly chose the scenarios and points given or lost.
For example, I played a game by myself using one piece as the RN and the other as the LPN, and the LPN won, 506 points to the RN's 486.

What a creative way to use your experience! Would love to take a roll! I guess if I could go back I would have started in nursing earlier, but since my first career afforded me things I might not have had as a newer nurse, things probably progressed as best as they could. It is definitely interesting how life can throw curveballs no matter who you are, LPN, RN, NP, etc. Thanks for sharing!

Well, alright, JBMmom! You are the blue Davey Do, since your avatar has blue scrubs and you're an RN piece, so let's roll!
Your roll is a four, you move on to a "Follow the Fates" space, pull a card...
Oh- sorry. My turn. I'll be the white LPN Davey Do. I rolled a six, so I go to "Dead End Nursing Home" and make 10 points!
Score thus far: RN is at -9, LPN +10.

Oops! Sorry, sss! You can be the Red Davey Do, like the red lips on your avatar. You roll, get a ten, move to "Community Clap Counseling" and get 16 points!
Score: Blue -9 White +10 Red +16

Bringing up the rear here, sometimes it feels like a parallel to life, but things usually work out so I'll make a comeback. 😋

What a good attitude, JBMmom. You rolled a nine, go to Wrongway, and make 33 points!
Your score is now +24!
