Take Charges or Go to Court Not Guilty

Nurses Criminal

In 2016 was working as supervisor, in early spring 2017 was contacted stating investigation was going on and their office had questions regarding documents that they wanted to go over with me, before a meeting I hired a lawyer as this facitis well known for issues & wanted respresentation. My lawyer decided it was best to contact office and reply with no comment, no the investigation is closed and the documents turned out to be a simple partial order, which I have taken into hiuse from pharmacy numerous times. However in this case the facility / pharmacy is statinng this was not a partail order but a complete order! Help! I have no clue what to do my lawyer said to take a plea deal and a misdemeanor for inaccurate documentation or theft! The other option is taking it to trail! Which if for some reason the jury finds me guilty it can be a felony & jail time!!!!! I did not take the medication, I orginally did not mind the inaccurate documentation but now i am not sure as any plea would be a misdemeanor and how do i explain that - i took it because i didn't want jail time. According to my lawyer it is this one and only time they found this under my name, and I can assure there are many more partial orders i signed in from pharmacy that there are bo issues with. This is the only time! There is no video tape. No real evidence. Beside the fact of pharmacy stating they delivered a whole order not a partial when both orders came into this facility all the time. I am starting to think the lawyer i hired is more criminal than nurse lawyer as he can not directly tell me what these charges mean to the future of my burse license!!!! Need adivice! Please please please so lost! I wish I would have ran the other way with the reputation of this facility but took it as a job to get back into nursing after moving states and being out of nursing awhile!!!!!
