They changed when the application typically is. I'm hoping it'll make it a little easier because of how far in advance it is to when winter grads typically look for jobs. I'm having a hard time getting an email to my references from the application site, how about you? None of mine have gotten an email and it's been about two weeks.
So are any of you guys graduating this winter? I've emailed all of my references and let them know to be on the lookout for an email, but one replied saying she hadn't gotten anything and my nursing advisor emailed me that she did get it and completed it. I'm anxious because I wanted to do it as soon as possible.
I know we aren't the only three people interested in this, otherwise that'll make it VERY easy to get in. I know a girl who got accepted for the summer group this year and she seems to love it. Where are you guys from? Do you think they'll just do a phone interview or that they'd want us to come in for a face-to-face interview?
Just looked at the website for the Residency program and saw this "All candidates will receive follow up communication prior to the September interviews." So I'm going to guess that interviews will begin in September. I wonder if they're going to start with people who would start in November and then work down to the February start people.

Hello!
I am graduating in December and I have the summer off so I've begun looking at potential places that I'd like to work.
I'm thinking I'd like to do a nurse residency because I want to work in a pediatric Critical Care setting (PICU or Peds ER) and I feel like having that whole year with someone helping me and that I can ask questions without feeling like an annoying dummy.
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone here was looking at Vanderbilt's Nurse Residency for February 2018? I'm not from Nashville, but I'm also not too far away as I'm from North Alabama. I'd appreciate any tips about the residency or about Nashville!
Thanks
