Hello!

I'm new to allNurses, but thought it would be a great way to connect to a new area :).

My husband and I recently decided to move to Jacksonville Florida, we are still in the packing stages right now but I thought it would be nice to get an idea of the area. I'm an ADN with experience in critical care and ER and am looking for a PRN/PT position when we arrive as I have also just been blessed with our first child and don't want to be away from her too much just yet. My question for those in the area is: What hospitals do you recommend with these parameters in mind. I would love to go some where that is willing to work with a "transplant" to help me learn the "ropes" of the facility and also a great place to learn. any suggestions?

Specializes in Med/Surg, Oncology.

I work as a medical scribe in the ER at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine and Baptist South in Jacksonville. I haven't heard any complaints about Baptist South!
