How to Ace a Hospital Interview

  1. Hi fellow nurses,

I am due for an interview with a teaching hospital on 17th. I went for several interviews with other public hospitals but I didn't get the job. I might have screwed up the interview.

Now this is the last public hospital that has called me for an interview, so I don't want to screw this up else I might have to go private.

    Any tips? Thanks in advance!

I am looking around also to see for any tips in acing a hospital interview. How did yours go? Which hospital did you apply for (if you don't mind)? Thanks in advance.

I didn't get the job. I was told they will reply in 2 weeks but they only replied within 2 days. This happened to my application at another hospital before. Was wondering if it has anything to do with my interview or an internal thing.

I applied at one of the teaching hospitals in Singapore. If you're not from Singapore, the exact name of the hospital doesn't really matter.

I don't know how many months before trying again.

Thanks for the response Der! I thought it's the same hospital that I am applying for. I'll be having my interview tomorrow so I'm looking around for experiences from anyone who had interviewed with them before.

There are still plenty of opportunities out there for you. We just got to keep an open mind. Good luck with your job search.

Have you tried practicing interviews with friends/peers? I've done it several times and it helps immensely. Only someone who directly is across from you can give you the best advice.
