Nurses Career Support

Published

Hello Nurses:nurse:!

I am currently a pre-nursing student and I am enrolled in a career class which requires me to do a little more in depth research on this field. I have already read tons of threads, blogs, and every little aspect that could relate to nursing, but I have an interviewing assignment in which I have to get a few questions answered by working nurses, and it'd be great it any of you could provide some personal input! Answering all or some of these questions would be really appreciated!

Questions:

How long have you been in this position?

How did you get started in Nursing?

Would you describe your present job responsibilities and duties?

How would you spend a typical day?

What type of training or education did you receive for this position?

What do you like most about your job? What do you like least?

What do you think are some important things that someone going into this field should know about?

What has contributed to your career success up to the present?

What are some of the problems you have encountered on your job? How have you resolved the,?

How did you choose your profession?

Did any of your past jobs prepare you for this one?

Thanks for your time!
