from the little i know kindred hospitals, formerly vencor, are not only nursing homes. many of their patients are on ventilators. they are chronically critically ill.

Hmmmm.... I wonder why the Kindred would rather deal with SEIU. Hand in pocket syndrome.

You are right about the kindred hospitals, but they also own regular ol' nursing homes separate of the hospitals (used to work at one). hope the workers get what they want.
