The original poster is someone who doesfeel that it was a calling. I am asking that those who do NOT share the original posters sentiments please walk away from this thread and NOT use it as a forum to debate the issue.

I interpreted Nevada's post to mean that she's happy and there's the reason why. Never even thought once she was putting the nursing profession above others. I thought i was the only one who thought this.

I can see where it can be interpreted either way: "All work is God's work and here is why I think nursing is...." or "Nursing is a higher calling above other professions and here is why......" All in the eyes of the reader, her/his experiences in life, mood, etc.
