Hi everyone, I am interested in gaining experience through nursing externships. Do I need to graduate from nursing school before applying?

Most of us start applying for jobs and externships at least a few months before we graduate.
I'll keep that in mind. What is the best way to gain experience as a student nurse besides working as either a nurse tech, or a CNA?
Right now, I'm not looking for full-time work because of nursing school.

Where I live externship normally means during the summer while in nursing school. Internship or residency is post graduation.
Yeah, I'm planning to get in touch with different places, including hospitals, to find a realistic way to gain experience while in school. It's difficult for me to work full-time (FT) right now.
