Nursing in Dallas

I just moved from NY to Dallas two months ago, and the working conditions for nurses here are so bad. Its very disappointing. I work at ******* and its horrible. Can anyone suggest me any hospitals in nearby areas or dallas that treat their nurses well and have better nurse pt. ratio? I feel like moving back to NY.

I really feel that Texas needs nursing union. I am really surprised that no one even raises their voice against these bad working conditions.

Fearful they will end up on Groupone Black list. Once you're on that in Dallas you can never get another full-time job. I recommend heading back to east coast where you can work in a union. I won't do non union nursing again. The only hospital I would recommend is VA hospital in Dallas. They have a union. The pay stinks compared to other VA hospitals. Texas is the pits.
