So I went to a very well known school that shall remain nameless for now. Basically I passed my nclex at 208 questions PRAISE THE LORD for that but 48 of 60 students in my class failed the nclex. That is right 48 of 60 students... So what does that mean for my school???[/quote']Oh my :/ what state is this in?

Also, were there warning signs prior to the NCLEX (such as many people struggling to pass classes)?
I know my school has a 95+% passing rate and work very hard to keep it that way. Your school will probably have to explain themselves and show they are going to make changes to keep that from happening again.
If you look at the CA BRN NCLEX passing rates, CSUF has a 100% passing rate because only one person took the NCLEX that year, haha. I always tell people - when you look at the passing rates, be sure to look at "number of candidates" as well because I've seen like 50% passing rates and only two students took the test that year.
Out of 21 we had one fail, two who didn't take it until between one and two years post-graduation, and everyone else passed. The class before us had most of their students fail, so they were forced by the state board to come up with a remediation plan and implement it, because at least 75-80% of students had to pass the nclex the first try. They may not shut your school down, but the school might have to do the same thing my school did.
