Mostly in the ER or Urgent tx centers but remember most dont present admitting to a situation of DV. Be aware of the signs and if the injury matches the explanation given. I'm sure many DV situations go through without it openly being known as a DV injury. You will also find many wait till hours or even a few days later (if at all) to seek treatment which then may get missed entirely. Many go untreated unless the injury is just so serious there is no way to avoid. On a more long term basis you will see it alot in the psych units. Be surprised how many are admitted with major depression dx or ptsd.
