Specializes in ICU.

Hi,

Before you found the right job that was worth transitioning to...

How long did it take you to find that job?

How many jobs did you turn down in the process?

How many interviews did you have?

*How many interviews did you turn down?

*Some employers fail to list the hours or days. You apply and find out it wasn't what you were looking for. Total waste of everyone's time.

How long did it take you to find that job? Going into month six. I had looked off and on prior to that. Seriously the process has been too long. I think I may have found the right fit. Should know next week. :nailbiting:

How many jobs did you turn down in the process? Officially two. one was because pay sucked. the other was because they wanted me to do something other than what i interviewed for and I was not interested.

How many interviews did you have? Six.

*How many interviews did you turn down? Three. Typically I don't turn down interviews but, no need to waste my time or the employer's.

Did not get that job. Oh well seemed perfect moving on.

Worst part about not getting the job was being left in limbo. HRs if your reading this get back to people either way. It is rude to not get back to anyone who has left messages and emails to you and management. I should not have to contact you over 10 times to get a flippin answer. I will not recommend your hospital going forward. It is unprofessional and BS.

closely approaching month 9 in two weeks.

Lots of denial. Guess it's time to exit the ICU. I can't get a job in something I have been trained to do for several years. Oh well I did not enjoy ICU anyways. Looking for nurse residency programs for experienced nurses.
