I am going for my BSN and I was wondering what other books, other then the required ones, that are useful for nursing school. This can be from references or websites anything in general. I feel like I may buy every nursing book at Barnes Noble.

A good drug guide. One with a companion ebook would make taking it to clinical easier, plus may also include updates.
Medical dictionary.
NANDA- not the books like the one most likely required by the program, but the actual one published by NANDA itself.
NCLEX prep books. Never too early to prepare, and many professors are giving tests with NCLEX style questions.

NANDA-I 2015-2017. You will be blown away by the clarity of the wholly new FAQs and other student-friendly content.
NIC-NOC-NANDA Linkages, most current edition. The only problem with this and other such refs is that they are perforce out of date with respect to nursing diagnosis the day they're published, because it takes about 2 years to publish a book and NANDA-I is updated q 2 years. Beware. Use them, but check the current nursing dx before you rely on them.
