Who else is taking it ? I hear it's a beast of a class. Can anyone give some solid direction? I decided to take it with no other class because the consensus on here is that it's the hardest one offered.

Specializes in Psych ICU, addictions.

If I was unable to find a lymph node, I wrote "unable to palpate xxx node bilaterally." I was never dinged for doing that.

When you comment on how you assessed, do you quote from the book or paraphrase? And can anyone check my sources I have been using (Weber, 2010) for paraphrasing, and (Weber, 2010, pp. 218). Or am I messing up by not having the 2nd name in my sources?

Interesting, a response to a question on the forum asked was to follow the textbook in how it goes. I suppose if that is the answer that is the answer.

Just took the quiz for week 2. I read on other threads that this week's quiz was harder than the first quiz. I did not think it was. If you have completed the assignments sub/obj for the week, it should be all info you are pretty familiar with without having to study the text book. However I am not encouraging anyone to not study the text. I'm just saying after spending hours upon hours using the text book as a guide for the assignment; one should already know the content.

This week’s assignment took forever! I think I will start on next week’s assignment as soon as I do the discussion. I hope week 3 is not more time consuming than this.

I got a good grade for week 2 as well. I feel I deserve it just based on the amount of time I spent on it. I have already completed the week 3 assignment. Week three didn't take me long at all compared to week two. Maybe I just did sloppy work for week 3, I don't know. I think I will start the discussion for this week tonight or maybe I will do the Week 3 quiz. I am highly interested in getting the work for this class done early so I will be one more class closer to being done.

I did better in week 2 also. I think I just knew what to expect more. The feedback from the week 1 assignments helped. I was really a disorganized mess for the first 2 weeks. Hopefully I can pull it together for the last 3 weeks.

Yea! It's week 4! Almost done with this class. So far it is not that bad of a class. My coach has graded my papers pretty easy. I have forgotten some parts of the assessment and I didn't get that many points off.

Yes I agree. So far so good. Would love to maintain this A. Hopefully the final exam won't be a killer.

The objective assignment for this week (week4) are so boring! Does anyone in the medical field still do these types of assessments? Can't we just send our practice patient out for an MRI and a CT and be done already, LOL. I'm almost done, thank goodness. After I'm done there is only one more week left.

I've done well on all the quizzes so far, but I am nervous about the test since it is over so much.
