What's the most annoying part about taking online CEs to renew your license?

I'm researching online CEs that give you contact hours for nursing license renewal. While I have some observations about what's available, I'd love to hear from nurses themselves. Which of these sites are the best/worst? What are the current pain points for you in this process and with the courses available? Thanks!

Our hospital offers numerous interesting seminars and classes for nurses. But our managers don't have to give us education hours OR pay for the classes. This is the first time in 37 years I've encountered this difficulty. ACLS counts -- we do it on our own time, but the hospital will pay for the course. That's the only class they'll pay for.

I have taken online CE's from Medscape and MyCME. Both require that you answer ridiculously easy questions at the end. If you get them wrong, you can keep answering until you get it right (Medscape) or it'll give you the answer and you "try" again (MyCME). I love that the records are stored under my account, so I'll have no trouble finding them in the future. The search feature is lacking in both, but I can't complain about free.

I have used Western Schools for years, and I have been happy with the course materials and the prices. I also like that I can print my completion certificates immediately after I finish a course, or I can retrieve them after the fact if I need them for my records or for a BON audit (which has happened once).

Some of the classes I have taken online have been too general to be of much use. The best ones I have taken have been webinars offered by the professional organization of my specialty. The are free because I am a member -- and they offer content that is not at a beginner level. They tailor their content to people already working in the specialty and who already have some knowledge of it.
