Okay, I just watched the video on MSN.com about the florida baby boom due to the hurricane. They showed a nurses station FULL of nurses wearing hats? Does this happen in real life?!!!!

has never happened on my shift...maybe I should start wearing a white Stetson.

Jeepgirl, you got me curious, so I had to go and check out the video.

Cute story - the 9-months-post-hurricane baby boom :)

Sure enough, you're right - there was video of one nurses station where EVERYONE was wearing a cap. If they said which hospital this was, or what city, I missed it.

Fascinating -- was this for the cameras only, or is this an area where caps are commonly worn?

Apparently the cap-wearing nurses were at Winter Park, and the non-cap-wearing nurses were at Boca Raton.

They don't wear caps at our hospital, but I know some hospitals do require whites and caps.

Welcome to Florida. :chuckle
