Nurses RX..who has traveled with them?

Published

Anyone out there taken an assignment from NursesRx. I have never traveled before and I am doing my research on each company that offers me a contract. Thank You for any info. -Catherine

Just for your information: NursesRx is a brand of American Mobile, which is the largest agency in the US. That doesn't mean it is a bad choice for a first assignment. Do talk to a few more agencies of course. Traveling is not necessarily like picking a staff job where you work for only one employer.

alot depends on your recruiter not the company. i have ****** recruiter great company and vice versa.

Specializes in Pediatrics.

I agree with NedRN about talking with other agencies. I didn't find NursesRX to have the most "mature" or honest recruiters. I made the decision not to work with them and have contacts with several other agencies. Good luck.

I can say that NurseRx had one of the worst reputations of any agency when AM bought them. But that was a long time ago and I haven't seen criticism different from other AM agencies since. It would be amazing if existing agency culture can last that long. That said, every agency has travelers that don't like them, and vice versa.

I am currently traveling with NursesRx and am very happy with my recruiter. This is my first assignment so I don't have much to compare it to, but this recruiter has been very forthcoming and helpful to me throughout the on-boarding process. I feel very well supported.
