Food/Products to avoid

Can someone please give me a quick list of stuff i should be avoiding. I got the Talbott list and i know the general no poppy seeds and no hand sanitizer. But to avoid any false positives i want to know exactly what not to do.

I am in much the same boat as I just started my contract. I have replaced the following with alcohol free products: mouth wash, hand sanetizer, deodarent, laundry detergent...that's it on that but I'm sure the list will grow. I avoid soy sauce, vinegars that are wine based (actually avoid thwm all as I am paranoid), poppy seed anything, sauces with any alcohol name in it, some perfumes. I am still learning so look forward to finding out if there is anything else to avoid.

I had a false positive for alcohol from sport spray sunscreen! Apparently, inhaling even a small amount while applying can cause a positive for alcohol. Stick with the rub-in sunscreens.

My young daughters dumped a bottle of body spray down the drain in our bathroom, it reaks. And now im scared.

Because I knew that I didn't consume alcohol, my positive test was sent for review by a medical review officer. He had me take a peth test which proved that I did not in fact drink alcohol. The "positive" test now shows up as a "non-negative, incidental exposure." If you were to get a false positive from the body spray you smell then just ask for a review and a peth test. It's a lot to go through, but it is good to know that there is a fall back for a false positive for alcohol!

Thank you for the info! I havent had to test since they spilled it and i didnt go down in that bathroom until it had been cleaned up and dried but ut still smelled strong.
