Just wanted to give an update. After testing positive for etg a few months back I have made a deal with peg Committee for 4 years probation. My case will know go public but what did you do. I am having a real rough pregnancy and will be taking my maternity leave early and then I plan on stAying home for at least a year. My lawyer recommended I go inactive during this time. Can anyone else give some advice. I would hate having to go inactive after just getting it back. Any thoughts?

I have a friend who within a week or so of having her license reinstated went on inactive status because of a new baby. I think you should focus on you and take care of your body so you can enjoy this bundle of love! The NV state board will reinstate it no problem, but I believe she is keeping track of meetings.

Good for you! I'd keep up on CEU's during that time. Enjoy the time off with your new baby and Congrats on seeing some light at the end of the tunnel!

I thank you for posting this. My LVN file is about to be sent to the Attorney general for missed test and I am not sure of the outcome. It is frightening because I will not understand if they add another 3-4 to the probation. I was only in 6mos into my probation before my file was sent back to the AG office so not sure of this process. My monitor told me that the time I wait to for the AG to get back to me does not count towards my probation even though I have to stay in compliance with everything except Work. I am devastated because I am about to finish up RN school. I hope you can email me to give me some information since you have been through it. Did you even go to a hearing or was it all done by mail? my contact is lakistkali at yahoo. Hope to hear from you

If you can I would keep your license active - That way when you are ready to go back to work and if your stips allow it - you will be ready to step back into the workforce.
