Nurses to NZ

Hello!

I'm a Filipino nurse and is very much interested to go to NZ and work there. I recently passed my ielts and got the qualified scores. I only have 6 mos. working experience. is there a possibility that i still could apply as a nurse in NZ? if yes, how would i go about it? Tnx2!

great info narsbing! is there really a need for nursing experience coz i just passed the board exam dis december 2007 and i want to apply to new zealand or australia right away...and i'm also an MD, do they have a separate requirement for MDRN? baka they can consider my experience as a doctor...pls reply thanks

I am an MDRN as well but I doubt it if they will credit experience as a doctor. Their policy right now is to have a 1 year nursing experience. Better to send the council an e-mail.
