I am a nursing student and about to get my RN. I have heard from several physicians that they are voting republican because Obama care will negatively impact their earnings. I am fearful that if Obama wins that it will negatively impact my ability to find employment. I live in a state that always votes republican, according to the electoral college. I really don't see the point in voting. I feel like the electoral college decides who becomes president no matter what the popular vote is.

Obama 4 more years!!!....for the simple fact that I dont want my future in the hands of an indecisive liar whom does not care for the infamous "45%" and the fact that the medical voucher system is total garbage. And I dont want the government deciding on my women's health issue or the state to decide on my pay grade for being a woman SN: people need to realize that it is the senate and the House that oppose many of Obama's proposed bills that would in return even greatly improve the economy even though the economy has improved since the disaster of the Bush administration.

Note: it is easy to F up but it is hard to quickly recover. Example in school it is easy to mess up your GPA but its hard as heck to bring it aback up it takes time. American are to inpatient and want instant gratification.

Well, seeing as you voted Obama, I don't need to tell you it was 47%. And, if you listen closely, the 47% Romney talks about, is the 47% who are on welfare, getting handouts, like....cell phones that aren't a necessity....those 47% are the ones who prefer sitting on their rears and expecting the government to give them everything they feel they are entitled to. He is not talking about the people on SNAP who truly need help. He's not talking about the people on public assistance who need help and who choose not to abuse it. He is talking about the people who drive an Escalade and talk on their iPhone, while buying food with SNAP, and then buy beer and cigarettes with cash! In my world, if you don't earn it, you don't get it! I am working my butt off to better myself with education while 25% of my income is being taken and given to people who feel they are entitled to what I earned! Since your education is free, do you mind giving me some of your money? Because....I earned that! Didn't I?

Yeah, it might be easy to mess up your GPA, but you have no one to blame but yourself, right? Or, is that someone else's fault? I just failed a test (example) so can I blame you? He has had 4 years to fix things. He said if he didn't, he would be a one term president. If your boss gave you a deadline, and said, if you can't beat it, then you are fired, what would you do? Ask for more time? Surely a prudent boss would have an expected and rational timeline in order for you to get the work done, but....you just added 6 TRILLION dollars to their debt. I wouldn't keep you!

i live in ma and can not stand romney.he is a flip flopper extraordinare .he did nothing for ma.his positions on womens issues,scotus,etc scare me.obama /biden all the way.

Really? Over 50% of the people in MA said they are happy with his romneycare! Don't even get me started on Obama's flip flopping! Lord.......

Republicans=worried about the almighty dollar in THEIR pockets yep. Sounds about right!

How is her worry about finding a job about money in her pocket? Sounds to me she's worried about not being able to provide for herself. Do you want to support her? Would you rather she collect welfare, like Obama wants? That's his goal, you know. He's got her right where he wants her!

We have a democratic controlled house and senate, so how can republicans purposefully deny bills?

Um...no. The House is Republican-controlled.

Regardless, there is an entire current events forum (upper right corner where it says 'Break Room') to debate all this stuff.

Obama administration has given ~31 million Americans health insurance that never had it before. I found this to be great esp for all of us whom will be or are employed in the health care field

He gave it to them? Who's paying for it, because someone has to! I want free health care, where's mine?!

I live in a state that always goes red for the president, in a city and county that always goes red for its representatives.

I am going to vote, 'tho. In hopes that I can keep the pro-creationist, pro-abstinence only folks off our local school board.
