i am a philippines licensed RN and uk licensed RN. my fiance wants me to move with him to california.and eversince i am a neonatal intensive care unit nurse.
if i dont have a california license as a nurse but i want to work as a nursery nurse caring for babies only ... is that possible? then i plan to study same time as working to have income abd hopefully regain as a nicu nurse... is this possible? i hope someone can help me.
since my NY application is almost through, if i take the nclex NY exam and in case I pass, then I go to California deciding to take the BS RN program (if there is one as i prefer bachelors of science degree) , will i still need to take nclex Ca or will they credit NY nclex exam result? thankyou hoping for your response

As long as you don't have greater than 8 year gap in practice or licensing as an RN you won't have to retake the NCLEX
