nurse without hospital experience...

Published

Hi! I'm a June '07 passer and I'm currently working as a health care representative in a call center..my dad wants me to gain experience by working in the middle east since experience is not usually a requirement there and besides, i can earn and save up since it's is tax free, board and lodging are also for free..

as of now, i cannot give up my current job since it helps us financially. I'm thinking of filing my resignation once i get a go signal from MOH. I still have not applied though because I still fon't have the board certificate...would any of you has an idea of the whole process if I'll be applying for Saudi-MOH. How long will it take if I'll submit my requirements this month? Hope you could advise me on this one..

would this be a wise decision? pls help.

I suggest you bring your resume and other credentials at poea. That's what my friend did.And after a series of interviews and medical exams, you know the usual process, she's now leaving for KSA to work as an ICU Nurse in MOH.If I'm not mistaken, the whole process took about a month or so.I may have to confirm that with my friend.May I just remind you that you need to have at least 6 months of hospital experience, regardless if its volunteer or with pay.

God bless you, hope I was able to help.

Hi! I'm a graduate of nursing too and passed the local boards already. Up to now, I'm having a hard time landing a job in the health care industry. I'm currently working in an office ...Was hoping maybe you can tell me which company do u work for...Maybe I can apply as a health care rep also.

thanks a lot
