what if i don't have IVT and BLS certificates, will they still accept me?
I came to the hospital dec 2013 to pass my resume, unfortunately all of the people in the HR were having their Xmas party. A lady who assisted me (not part of HR Dept) told me that they recently hired a batch of nurses. My friend who is also a RN in this hospital said that yep! the new batch just finished didactics and now deployed in their respective areas. I called San Juan De Dios this Monday and the lady in the HR dept told me as of now they won't be accepting resumes.
Good day nurses!
I need your help guys. I am still waiting for the result of my board exam held last December 2013 and I am very anxious about it. But I am more anxious if there are opportunities waiting for me in manila because I live here in Isabela. I am dreaming to work at St. Luke’s Medical Center but I have no idea if they are accepting trainees there. I am also undecided if I will try to volunteer or to become a trainee. I don't even know the difference between a trainee and a volunteer. Haha! I have plans to go abroad so would it be better for me to become a trainee or a volunteer? I've read from your previous conversations that there are hospitals in manila offering free training for nurses, can you name some of these hospitals? And one more thing, can you suggest schools in manila having master’s of science in nursing curriculum offering cheap tuition fee. Thank you for those who will patiently reply on my questions. God bless us always!

But I've graduated from one of the Colleges in Batangas last year and took the June 2013 NLE and luckily I've passed the exam. Dont be nervous, claim it that you deserved that title, just like me before, I felt nervous also but the thing I can do is to PRAY and PRAY and the anxiety suddenly goes away. Just think your license card are already available @ the PRC and the only thing you can do is to grab it and relax, finally after 4years in nursing hell those sacrifice, blood sweatng etc comes to an end. If you want to work in pestigious hospitals like St.Lukes you need to be patience coz its not easy to enter that kind of institution now a days there so called backer/padrino system are still exist, the prioty is always there friends, relatives etc. There a lot req, cred, the board rating should 80%above, etc. try to AFPMC at v.luna free 6mos training, but no allowance. just browse another thread in this site. I've been in all colleges/univ. in manila to inquire, MCU and PCHS offered affordable tuition fee. congrats in advance fellow colleague.

Thanks for the advice and info @dmarkRN :) I am patiently waiting today for the results of the board exam because some say that today is the release date of the PRC. Prayer really works for me as to what you have said it will take away my anxiety :) Thank you very much! I'll search the hospitals and schools you had suggested. God bless always!
