We need Congress to pass the nurse staffing bill that was recently reintroduced in the House May 12, 2021. WE DON'T NEED IMPROVEMENT!! WE NEED ENFORCED LAWS NOW for patient and nurse safety! NURSES NEED TO RISE UP AND TELL CONGRESS WE'RE SICK OF BEING UNDERSTAFFED FOR PROFIT! I've been researching this for years and all I find is more evidence to support the staffing laws and a bunch of govt and hospital political tactics to STALL AND STALL AND STALL. I also don't have the patience for mamby pamby talk from nurse martyrs, management climbers, or admin who spoon feed "Tips to accepting moral, mental, and physical injury.... with a smile." and "10 ideas for morale improvement..serve pizza for overtime!", as time marches on and takes a toll on nurses' mental and physical health/patient safety for their profit... and nothing. gets. done. ALL NURSES SHOULD BE ANGRY AS &^%# AND PEACEFULLY PUSHING FOR OUR RIGHTS NOW! Make calls, sign petitions, join online groups like Last Pizza Party on FB, march if you can. I've repeatedly signed petitions, made websites and have started making phone calls to Reps and Senators. If all the nurses did this, the politicians will listen. We are too complacent! We have to come together and get this done. Do you really want to wait another 2 years working understaffed?
