This is so scary. Let's all send our prayers/well-wishes to this nurse and his/her family.

An elderly man opened fire on his nurse and one other person at a Danbury Hospital in Connecticut Tuesday afternoon, WTNH.com reported.

The alleged shooter is now in custody and the condition of the nurse is not known.

No names were released.

"The situation is under control, the building is not under lockdown and normal operations are underway," the hospital said in a statement.

The hospital is roughly 70 miles northeast of New York City2_bing.gif.

OMG that's scary, lets keep the nurse and his/her family in our prayers. Yikes! This just goes to show that security is a major issue at hospitals. How sad.
