Ok, so today I heard from St. Mary's and they are having an open house for new grads. Anyone else going?

I received an email invitation this afternoon that said it was Wednesday, May 18th I believe. I had an HR interview in March and it'd been a while since I'd heard anything, so I didn't know what they were doing. Are you attending?

Hey. Is the Saint Mary's open house open to anyone? I saw it on the job listing so I thought it was open to anyone. I plan to attend tomorrow!

Hey Christina, I didn't think it was open to everyone just because I had received an email about it from HR about 3 weeks ago. After I saw your post I looked at the job posting site

and saw the notice about the open house. I'm guessing they opened it up last minute or just decided to let everyone know about it if they hadn't heard yet. Maybe we'll be the lucky few there and we'll both get jobs See ya there!!

Thanks for replying. When I called the HR they told me about open house too. I may just double check in the morning. Have you taken your boards yet? I was told (via grape vine) to apply to new grad positions before I take them. I plan on taking them ASAP.

Yeah I applied back in Feb (just because that's what we do in KS where I'm moving from) and interviewed with HR in March. They mentioned a panel interview may be held in April, but that's when they let me know about this open house, saying it was the first time they've done it. So I didn't know what they meant. But if it's on the job posting site I'm assuming its just open to new grads. I noticed they didn't have very many depts that will be there, so we'll see how it goes.

Oh and no I haven't taken boards yet. Still waiting on ATT from the GBON. I got an email today saying they were reviewing my application. I'm like you though, I'd like to take it ASAP!!
