Hi I'm a new RN participating in my hospitals network nurse residency program. I am totally thrilled at the opportunity and would like feed back from new and seasoned nurses on the idea of the program? And if you have gone through a similar program???

    Your program should be providing you with a specific list of goals that must be accomplished along with the timelines for accomplishment and the criteria by which they will be evaluated. Make sure you have a very clear understanding of these expectations before you try to establish your own.

    It's a good sign that your hospital is wanting to spend the resources to train you well. I would never work anywhere that didn't have an on boarding plan for me
