Nurse Residency July 2017

Hi all! I graduate may 2017 and have already applied to UTSW nurse residency program! I wanted to start this thread to keep each other informed of notifications and updates on the application process! I applied for Women's Health and Adult Critical Care track!

Do you guys know what happens if you end up not passing the nclex the first time? I know some places allow you to retake it while you are doing the classroom part of residency. Or is it totally contingent on passing?

I haven't heard anything. And I know they were doing rejection calls while sending offers Wednesday so now I just wanna know where I fall into that lol

When I accepted on Wednesday, they said 2-3 weeks to get the official contract and paperwork so I wouldn't give up hope yet! They may continue sending out offers in those couple weeks depending on how many people accept the offers

So I know people that heard back last week with offers from NICU, Acute Medical, and ED. I have a friend that just got notified today for CC.
