U.S.A. Texas

Published

Hi all! I graduate may 2017 and have already applied to UTSW nurse residency program! I wanted to start this thread to keep each other informed of notifications and updates on the application process! I applied for Women's Health and Adult Critical Care track!

When is your interview

Good luck! Mine was Friday! I hope I nailed it. I had three friends who had CCU interviews Friday.

How'd your interview go? How'd your friends say theirs went?

I feel like mine went great but I prepared religiously. And they said it was really relaxed but some were nervous

Did you just prepare answers for a million questions before? I've been doing the same and doing my research, I just hope they don't throw a curveball haha

Well I had a lot of experience from my PCT interview there before I got hired. Do you work in a hospital

I don't and never have. I just have my clinical and volunteer experience in the hospital.

Where do you go to school

Hey guys, I have my interview tomorrow for the Adult Medical track. Just wanted to get an update about how you felt your interviews went, how many people were interviewing you, did you feel like it was very formal or more laid back? I'm trying not to over prepare so I don't seem too scripted and so I seem like a real person. Hopefully that doesn't come back to bite me..

Mine for surgical was pretty relaxed. Some of my friends in critical said it was pretty formal. Don't stress too much. I felt like mine went great but maybe that I talked too much haha I had 3 people interviewing me, but critical care had 5 people interviewing them from what I've heard.
