Nurse Residencies in Dallas - February 2019

Hey guys, just thought I'd start a thread for everyone who is applying for Feb 2019 residencies in Dallas! Where has everyone already applied to and where do you still plan on applying?

I have applied for Baylor, Medical City and Texas Health. What about you?

I've applied to Parkland, UTSW, Baylor, Texas Health, Medical City, and Methodist. I am from out of state so I am hoping I didn't miss any major hospitals around the Dallas area!

I am from out of state as well but I don't have my BSN like a lot of the hospitals require so I'm really nervous.

I am also from out of state so I am in the same boat! Which unit(s) did you guys apply to for Parkland, Texas Health, and Methodist?? I have been looking for openings and have hardly found any

Yeah applying from out of state has been VERY stressful!!

So Parkland had a few open late-August/early-September but they closed pretty quickly - they did just post their ER residency though that I think is still up! Methodist still has I think three units open and I think Texas Health has taken theirs down already.

did methodist have an opening for women's services? I never saw it

I have not seen one yet, they took down critical care it looks like but I'm still hoping they may post a few more??

I really will take almost any job because I feel like it is so competitive in the Dallas area. I would like to work in the ER, med-surg or post partum. I'm definitely open to other areas though. How did you find Methodist's postings? I don't see any nurse intern openings for them.

When you are on their careers page, I've been searching all locations -> "nursing" and they are listed under nurse resident

Hello! I applied to Children's Dallas, Baylor, THR and Medical City.

Some of my classmates heard from Children's Dallas recruiters today about doing an in person interview. I did a video interview with them and I am waiting to hear back about the in person interview. Does anyone know if they send out in person interview invites over the next few days? It is making me super nervous that I am the only one who has not gotten a in person interview text today.
