RN to MSN Programs Online

I am a new member and love all of the good information, but I am having a hard time finding a concise list of RN to MSN programs (Verses getting a BSN first). If anyone has information on these types of programs (Including the cost if available) it would save me a tremendous amount of time in researching. It may already be on here.. so if anyone would like to steer my novice butt in the right direction that would be fine as well.

I have requested information from all of the "big advertisers" but would like feedback from people who are actually in an RN-MSN program. Thanks so much.:clown:

By the way, I am a 44 year old male that has been a nurse since 1985, and am suddenly getting "inspired" to do more due to opportunities within my company.

You should look into the Frontier School of midwifwey and family nursing. They have a RN-MSN program. You can get your FNP from them. I go there and the instructors are the BEST!!! They are down to earth, and focus on the patient aspect of nursing not the research aspect; as most other schools do. No thesis is required also. You can visit them online at www.frontiernursing.org This is a program that was the first midwife program in the U.S. and the first program to offer FNP in the country!! That says a lot for them. Our class has 5 males. They have classes that start year round also. Check them out. Deb

Check out Indiana State University. They have BSN to MSN, and may have RN to MSN, but I'm not sure. 100% online, very organized, friendly, low cost per credit, no GRE! Best of luck to you.

Check out East Carolina University. They have an RN to MSN (no BSN awarded) with several majors including FNP on-line.
