Are MSN programs extremely competitive for Neo-Natal Nurse Practitioners?
Also, do Nurse Practitioners work 3 12s a week, or are they forced to work 5 8s?

Princess:
My best advice:
Become a nurse first. Then look into advanced nursing roles.

NNP programs can be competitive.
NNPs can work any kind of work schedule that you can dream up. Neonatal Critical Care is a 24/7 ship.

yes nurse practitioners work 12 hours shift, and some nurse practitiioners work 5 days, 8 hourss.. it depends on where you work.. in hospitals its 12 hours, and in in clinics and private practices its 5 days a week for 8 hours ...
same as registered nurses..
it depends where you chose to work.. these is no force...
when you begin to apply for an interview. and job searching... you would know your hours of work.. its a given...

hello, Im a graduate school student from the philippines. I would just want to ask what are the qualifications of becoming a nurse practitioner? are there some nurse practitioner who is willing to be interviewed with regards to their work? preferably a geriatric nurse practitioner, ob-gyne nurse practioner, and internist nurse practitioner? I just want to know what are the top 10 illnesses that you prescribe medicines for.
thank you so much.
