Nurse Graduate Philippines to US

Hi Every1.

I graduated nuring in the Philippines back in 2003 but I never took the board. I am now a green card holder in the state of California. I was wondering if I need to take the board exam in Philippines before I can take the board exam in the US.

Ca require local license since Jan 08 and have been strict on this rule, other states may not but if planning on working in Ca then you my have to do the local license

You will need to take a refresher course it you have not been working as a nurse. More states are requiring a local license.

Kaplan that I know of is a review course for the NCLEX, what I am talking about is a course for RNs to review current nursing practice. It sounds like you need both.
