RESEARCH SURVEY INVITATION

You are invited to participate in a brief on-line PhD student research survey that is focused on clinician decision-making specific to embryo disposition discussions with patients. This PhD research is titled: “Factors affecting clinician decision-making in IVF”. The purpose of this study is to gain an understanding regarding factors that may impact the embryo disposition decision-making process that occurs between the clinician and the patient, from the clinician’s standpoint. Survey input is welcome from clinicians and clinical staff in the field of assisted reproductive technology consisting of: IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), REI (Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility), and Women’s Health including: Reproductive Endocrinologists (IVF MDs), embryologists, andrologists, IVF / REI lab technicians, psychologists / social workers, and IVF nurse case managers / nurse coordinators, procedure nurses, and other nursing staff, who have regular interactions with patients around embryo disposition discussions.

The anticipated benefit of being in the study to the larger community includes an improved understanding of factors that may affect the clinician’s embryo disposition decision-making process, and the potential for best-practice algorithms and improved quality evidence-based medicine for clinicians in the field of assisted reproductive technology.

Participation in the survey is voluntary. No compensation is provided for participating. You should be able to complete the survey within 20 minutes. All data is de-identified and anonymous.
