Starting this thread for those who applied for Nurse Corps loan repayment in 2021

Well now I'm worried I submitted mine 9/16 and no credit check ? yet.

I submitted 9/19 and don't have a credit check either. I thought continuation would be faster approval. Don't get too worried.

Do we think the delay had anything to do with Congress' delay in passing the budget? My husband says it didn't pass until Nov. 17th. I'm really hoping that's what is going on.

I wrote a message for an update and was told I have the third year and they're waiting on a signature. They had me sign an addendum.

So does your application still say "under review?” And did you already receive a credit check?

Yes, I received a credit check a month ago and it still says under review.

Well I guess talking about it made a difference. 
 

I was sent a message indicating that I qualify for it but it will take some time (3-6 weeks) for a counter signature and full approval. In the meantime, I can sign an addendum that will allow this "gap time" between my old contract and the new contract to count towards service.

Hello,

Wanted to ask those who had received the third year award how long it took after application submission for things to get rolling? I remember the initial application was pretty agonizing so hoping this moves a little quicker.

It does move a lot quicker. My contract ended in January. 3rd year started in February.
