Hello everyone,
I have been a nurse for 6 years now and have worked in a variety of settings. I would really like to get into the Public Heath area of nursing. I am currently a nurse case manager for an insurance company and working on my MSN in leadership & Management. I enjoy the administrative side of nursing, but I really miss working with the public. I have always loved public health and would love to give it a try now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated :) Thank you!
Any ideas anyone??

What areas of public health nursing interest you? HIV? Diabetes education? Maternal/child? Epidemiology/immunizations?
Thank you for your reply. would love to work in the Maternal/ Child area. I am currently working with maternity Medicaid patients now for an insurance company. So I was wondering with me working on my MSN in leadership and management, does it make sense to look for public health jobs as well? It's a passion of mines and I would like to give it a try.
I would look into Nurse-Family Partnership
