I am hoping others will join this thread and we will be as successful as in previous classes. Relax with our well earned week off. See you on May 20th.
I am in a mixed group with no one doing anything so I said I would spearhead the group. I've asked for name suggestions. We are each going to answer all five questions, then assimilate and submit. We are graded on our participation, so I thought the best for all to respond to each section.[/quote']I think this is a good strategy. I think I will suggest this for my group as well.
I liked the strategy for everyone to do all 5, as well, but that isn't going to work in my group due to time constraints. It's getting late in the week, and up until this tonight, I was the only one posting. And, there is one person who still hasn't checked in yet. Whoa, this is going to be a long 5 weeks.
I agree the questions are lengthy. The best option is to divide the work. You are graded on your participation and the work you submit. Given the length of everything that has to be submitted and the time, this is the best option.[/quote']I agree! Its taking me forever to answer one part...cant imagine answering all 5
Does anyone know how to open the OOH? I think I need a file extension for JNLP but don't want to download something off the internet for this that might give me a computer virus. I heard the OOH is really helpful.
hi mom3boys,
i feel the same way about downloading stuff. i have a 2nd computer that i don't use for school and i downloaded Java on that one.
The AC stated they will post the OOHS recording soon for people to listen. It was helping but kind of fast paced so Im glad we get to listen to it again and again. I am still trying to wrap my head around the whole work. Very overwhelming
It's already available. Go onto the purple OOH icon and when it opens, hit "recording" and you can get it that way. i listened tonight and got a lot of helpful info for this first critique.
OK my turn to vent. UGH! My group seems to be good, I'll be happy with a C in this class though.
My group? not so good... no group leader and only one person has posted her work. Who, you ask? Moi. no one else. and now it's thurs texas time.
oh, and in the OOH today....the Prof said people don't get A's in this class. so we shouldn't expect one. sweet.

Divide & Conquer is logical to me as well but the problem is that you don't know who is a good writer or bad. I wouldn't want all my points dinged from one section cuz this one member sucks...ya know?? Group work online kinda blows....
