Hey Y'all
This is Brianna from the Excelsior NUR104 class. I thought we could post on here helpful study things for the upcoming test.

After talking to friends today, I think I might explore this option too. I also worry about the test cost and the fact that if you happen to fail then you have to pay again. I worry too about accountability. At least with the courses I have due dates I know must be met.
I agree! I feel like we HAVe to find something wrong with our classmates work and I don't like that. What if we can't find anything they need to add?? I just put some things down since it's required. I'm nervous about this class as well but good thing is that C is passing. And also I took the exam and got a 74. It only dropped my overall grade 1 point! So if you do good on the discussion and quizzes I think it's ok. How did y'all do on the exam/quiz 4

I have not done either yet. I plan to do the quiz here in a little after I find another post to 'critique'. Have either of you received a grade for last weeks discussion? I stalk my grades, ha ha.

Hey everyone! I want to know how everyone is studying for the quizzes and exams? The assigned readings are so boring. To be honest I just skim through the pages and I just started going online to the website that goes with the book. Also, Im really nervous about this exam. Was it hard, for anyone who has taken it??

I cannot sit down and the the textbook either. I try to do the learning outcomes at the beginning of the chapter and finding the answers to those questions help me kind of get to know what's in the chapter better. Also for the quizzes if I need help on a question I just look up some words in the index and it takes me to the right chapter that has the answer.
It was pretty hard. But I didn't really study for it and got a 74. So at least I passed!

Hi Brianna! Hoping that grouping together will help us to better succeed in this course! From the sound of it, we could all use a little help. I too have a difficult time reading the chapters and I focus on the objectives, especially after our professor had suggested this. I am not finding it to be anymore helpful though. I'm not sure what I'm missing. I know a big problem I have is the select all that apply questions so I'll be reviewing the links the professor sent over! - Megan

Hello, wanted to give you a tip for Select all that apply ( SATA), treat them as True or False answer. It helps.

Thank you! Professor said the same thing. I'm still struggling with that though.
I am using every resource I can find. The outcomes at the beginning of the chapters, cram.com, studyguide101.com, FA Davis that goes with the book, and of course the professors notes and past quizzes. Haven't taken it yet. Trying to get god and ready.
The exam was no joke. Definitely a lot about the nursing process and delegation. I do not understand why this course is not more focused! From what I am told, a majority of the courses are this way.

Thank you for doing this WOW I was pulling my hair out because I don't seem to be able to develop a routine I try to reach the chapters first, and the online stuff second, don't know if thats where I am going wrong since I don' tget to read all of it. And I just took the quiz at 2am not knowing that at 3am the system is down so my last questions is out--- I could use all the points. I have downloaded studyguide101 and it seems to be an abridge version of what we need to read except I don't get a chance to do their quizzes cause I am busy completing all the reading--- wonder if I should reverse it alittle to see how helpful it really is--- I have never look at cram but will do so after the test.
Also testing out is that really the way I have a friend that did that and she has done well except I am afraid of not keeping up with the schedule here in 8 week we move on to the next course of course if we pass Good luck with exam thanks again for doing this

It went horrible for me. Horribly horribly wrong. And we don't get to review any of it from what I can tell. I kept getting errors while taking it too so I'm unsure if that contributed. Anyone else not get replies from the professor? I've messaged her several times no response.
I actually did pretty well on my discussion, got a 89! I am constantly watching my grades as well!
