Hello perspective nursing classmates! Applying to any nursing program is nerve wrecking but I'm hoping this thread will allows us to help each other and support one another during this difficult process. Some of us have been through this more than once; hopefully it will be the last. I want to wish all of us the best of luck!
Hello everyone! I was also admitted to the spring 2011 semester. Right now I don't have health insurance, so I called this phone #: 954 262 4060 and Mark told me that the health insurance endorsed by NSU (Blue Cross Blue Shield plan) will cover the immunizations and part of the physical exam. I believe the annual fee is $1793. At least we are saving some money because not all health insurances cover the immunizations. We will be automatically billed and enrolled in Blue Cross Blue Shield plan starting January 1st, unless you fill out the insurance waiver to reject this insurance. We have until April 1st to complete the immunizations and the physical exam so I will do it in January when I get their health insurance.
Hello again, along with the admissions packet, we received a form called "policy on Florida Resident Tuition". Nova Southeastern University Health Professions Division requires that this form be notarized. My cousin just told me that if you are a Bank of America customer they provide this service for FREE!!.
