NP residency/fellowship

Nursing Students NP Students

I am a FNP student and set to graduate this December, I am looking into NP residency/fellowships. Has anyone here had any experience with them or would be willing to share information about such programs. I think that they would be very beneficial for those coming out as new grad NPs.

*Update, I have an interview Monday for Carilion Clinic Emergency medicine PA/NP fellowship. I have also applied for Carolina's healthcare Urgent Care fellowship in Charlotte, NC. I have not heard anything yet from that one.

I'm from Charlotte. How did you find out about the UC fellowship? Can you link a website

Edit: never mind I found it.

Hi,

I know this thread is a bit out of date--but wondering how things worked out for you in looking into fellowships/residency programs. Did you end up at one? Are you now working?

I am graduating this May from and FNP program and am looking into a few of the family practice residency programs---Carolina's Healthcare is one of them. I have found 6 programs I may tentatively apply to but the applications are quite intense, wondering if I should apply to all of them or narrow it down to a select few.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Can you share the programs you have found? I will be graduating next year but looking ahead into these programs.

does anyone on this thread have any experience with NP residencies?

Thanks

I recently learned UNC had am orthopedic fellowship program. It's 2 years long. I'm also considering the CHS UC fellowship when I'm done with school.
