And I just have to disagree. I found them extraordinarily helpful. I guess value is in the eye of the beholder.
If you have the NP review book and read cover to cover...u dont need the CDs. Did you not read what I wrote? Sorry but at $$446...they better be good. Did I say they were not helpful? The CDs are almost exact verbatim of her book & I found it boring. She sounds like she read it line by line from a book with a voice that is not so pleasant to listen.
I was letting other people know that if they have the fitzgerald NP review book...they dont need fitzgerald cds...they can invest in Hollier CDs or some other review CDs...something to add to review that is not almost same.

Yes, I read what you wrote and I disagree. Strongly. I think Fitzgerald is an outstanding review and worth every penny and I highly recommend her courses, books and CDs. I think she is a dynamic speaker, not at all boring. Of course, no one needs any of it. That much we agree on and it clearly goes without saying. If one is of the mind to purchase review programs, to my mind, there is no better investment than a Fitzgerald program. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Are you paid by Fitzgerald Health and Associates?? LOL.. And, I disagree with you...she might be intelligent but not a dynamic speaker for sure. I wish I'd bought APEA instead.

Ha! No, In my dreams. APEA makes good pocket reference materials, especially for pediatric antibiotics. I really like that one. And I really like Amelie Hollier in person. I just thought her review was a) scattered, and b) superficial. When it comes to taking the boards, Fitzgerald is the way to pass IMO.
And FWIW, Peg and Amelie and BFFs, so they would probably just smile, shake their heads and order another round if they knew about this "debate."
I have to politely disagree with you. I didn't spend the $400 some-odd dollars as I did get mine off Amazon for a lot cheaper and split the cost with a friend. But I think they have been worth every penny. I am one of those people who needs to learn from different media types, I cannot just sit and read something, but need another form to absorb things. So it has been helpful for me in that sense. I don't mind her voice, I think she isn't boring or overly dramatic.
Maybe you can sell them on Ebay to reclaim some of your money since you are not satisfied. I know plenty of people would be willing to purchase the CDs. Sorry to hear your bad experience

I recently bought fitzgerald cds which i thought was a rip off at 446. Just wanted to let you guys know that if you have her NP review book...you dont need the cds. It is just verbatim of almost exact information.
I found it so boring, her voice is not pleasant to listen to...and makes me sleepy....she goes on and on...its like an audio NP review book....reading her book line by line.
