I am retaking the nclex tomorrow at 9am and am doing some practice questions today. I am starting to get really frustrated and annoyed becuase I am doing the NCSBN review and am getting about 58 percent right at all times. On other reviews I am making 78 per cent or thereabouts. This is really worrying me now. WHat in gods name am I gonna do. I am reviewing questions today over and over - should I just forget about it and just take the darn test tomrrow. Help please.

How about not wasting your time in this chat room and studying instead?

I disagree. How about taking a break! You're clearly frustrated...get out of the house for an hour or 2. Go for a jog, a walk, a movie...anything to give your brain some rest:) You'll come back refreshed and ready to go. Alot of ppl around here say there is no amount of studying you can do to prepare you for NCLEX. I believe it.

Quit worrying. You take the test tomorrow- quit studying. If you dont know it by now your not going to know it tomorrow. Gets some rest. If you have to travel leave now, spend the night in a hotel close to the location. Eat a good well balanced meal tonight and go to bed early. Absolutely dont take any books with you, unless its something for pleasure. If you can afford it get a massage, this will help you relax as well.

stkates isn't that a little harsh? We are all here to support one another. So have2be go out relax and don't worry about the test go in there with the attitude that you are going to pass, think positive and know GOD will be with you. That is what I did for the PN boards last week I figured what ever GOD want for me at this time will happened, I prayed before I went in and asked and went in there very nervous but with some confidence that I would make. Keep your head up and leave it the rest to GOD.

Just know that the NCLEX is formatted so that everyone who takes it is at the 50% right vs 50% wrong point when they pass. You're at 8% above that right now. Good luck to you! :)

A fried of mine did that reveiw and she was also scoring in the fifties. She passed the NCLEX with 75 questions in 25 minutes. I'm sure you will do well.

My advice is this....I wouldn't even be doing questions today at all. I had several instructors tell me that you shouldn't do any questions the day before the test. You're obviously frustrated and it's only going to get worse if you continue to do them. You don't want to go in there with a bad attitude.
Personally, I only did MAYBE a hundred questions. I couldn't even tell you how I did on those. Either you know it or you don't. It's too late to stress now.
So quit the questions and RELAX. Give yourself plenty of time tomorrow. Get up, eat a good breakfast, drink a glass of OJ (they say it raises your IQ ten points) and again RELAX!!!
Good luck tomorrow!!!
P.S. Don't focus on how many questions you get tomorrow...I think that too will only make you more frustrated and nervous. Just answer the question and forget about it as you move on to the next one!!!
