Hi has anyone applied to Novants nurse residency for Summer 2021? I applied to the charlotte market and was wondering if anyone has heard about interviews and if your application still says application received

Oooh you are in for a treat! NC is beautiful, lower cost of living (especially when you live in the middle of no where like I do), so much nature, people are so nice & mountains!!

I moved up here from south Florida back in 2014 & it was the best decision ever. My family is still down there & I miss them, but I would never move back. I love it here.

The email was worded exactly " **VERY IMPORTANT**  Interview Follow Up- Update  Summer Cohort"

We were just told that the meeting would be held on April 14th at 430pm & given the link to attend. There were other people present in the meeting & that's how they told us together that they were offering us the position in the critical care residency program. I'm pretty sure they're just doing these meetings to let everyone know at once. Was yours different?

I was in the first round of interviews and they did it the same way for us. We had a zoom and they informed all 90 of us we were hired!! Congrats!

Well, I have some good news!  They let me choose if I wanted to do Surgical Services or Med Surge and I chose Med Surge at Winston because after talking with some family in the nursing field, they all agreed that it would be the best foundation for me with where I want to go in the future which is Women’s Services - Mother/Baby. I’m super excited to get started! Congrats everyone!

I think I have to agree! Plus, winston has A LOT more choices for medsurg floors. I actually have a picture of the list if you havent gotten one yet and interested ? also, congratulations!!

Has anyone else started onboarding yet?

I’m still waiting. I only received my ATT two weeks ago. Nothing since I  filling out the onboarding form.

You haven't heard from anyone?

I have started onboarding and all the required documents I had to send. I did background and went and took my picture for my badge yesterday. After my health assessment next Friday I will be done with everything. Just waiting to start July 12.

No. But I am starting in August and I just saw the recruiter post that July starts will be on boarded first.

Hi! Congratulations to everyone who got offered a spot! I was wondering if a facebook page has been made yet for those accepted into the Charlotte residency? I went to search for the one that was posted in this thread but nothing came up for the Charlotte market.
