Nova Southeastern Winter 2013 Entry Level BSN

Published

Hello future nurses!

I'm very anxious about my admission decision. Does anyone else feel the same way? I applied to Nova at the beginning of this month, checking the VIP page 3-4 times daily.

What campuses is everyone applying too? How was the interview process like? Did anyone attend the information session or spoke to a counselor?

I look forward to meeting everyone!

I have no idea if it's rolling basis.. We might find out by mid Oct if we got interviews. Do you know what the average gpa is for this spring term????

Hello, They accept students with a 3.0+ but I believe the average gpa is around 3.5+

Hello everyone!

I applied to the main campus. I'm super nervous. I am a student at USF right now and they denied me twice :( I'm hoping this is it! Good luck to everyone!

HI!

Pleasure to meet you! I think this is it! I'm sure they seen you twice and there like let this girl in the program already! I'm super nervous because I called to today to ask if they were hosting the web chat, which is the 1st Tuesday of every month. The rep didn't know what I was talking about, anyways I checked my status, and she told me that "I'm on a waiting list" they already started the interview process. So far all she said was that they can't offer me a seat because there is a lot of applicants being interviewed. I applied the beginning of August so now I'm anxious/ecstatic :(

Hey guys!

I applied at the end of july and im super anxious

thie is my 2nd time applying, the 1st time i applied for Fall2012 and got rejected :( it sucks cause i applied to 4 nursing programs and got rejected by all of them i almost had a mental breakdown lol. since i couldnt get into a program for the fall i wont be graduating on time which stinks but im not that worried because im only 19 right now so i have time. my GPA is a 3.3 which is not that great due to the fact that i got a C in ChemII and then i took organic chem and...well.......the rest is history lol

this year im applying to as many schools as i can- at least 10. but i really want to go to nova because i currently live in Atlanta and going to miami (i applied to the miami kendall campus) would be ideal for me because my parents/fam live in haiti so it would be much easier for me to see them when i have time.

im mad they pushed back the deadline that means more people can apply which means more competition grrrrrrr nooo faiiiir lol

Hey Niqu92 I agree with you, I'm really stressed out as well admissions is the first thing that comes to my mind when I wake up and the last thing I think about prior to going to bed. I'm only applying to Nova! I'm receiving support from my family therefore, if I leave it would be a lot of expenses.

same here the whole process is just extremley stressful i just really hope i get in this time. i understand it is super expensive, my bro goes to med school at Harvard and my parents are paying out of pocket for that so theres no money left for me so im going to have to figure out a way to pay myself. but at this point im just applying to as many places i can and if i get in then i'll try to figure out the expenses later

Tell me about it, It's very competitive and stressful to sit and wait for two months until decisions get mailed out. Anyways, good luck to you and I hope you get accepted!
