Hello, I saw that there wasn't a thread created for the fall term 2018 in nova. I wanted to know if anybody is already studying for the test, and if so, what book are you using to study?

Uniforms for America sells the appropriate lab coat and will have it embroidered also? That is good to know. I was planning on buying the lab coat from the bookstore but I wanted to try on a Meta brand lab coat before ordering. Do you happen to know the length that NSU requires?

I'm very anxious the last thing I need to do is order scrubs. I have completed background check, financial aid, residency form etc....

The lab coat is the shortest length they have, but if you order from Uniforms for America they will let you try it on before ordering. The bookstore takes forever, I ordered mine the summer before I started the program in mid July and did not get mine until September. Uniforms for America will get you the lab coat much quicker.

Hello I will be going to Nova from North Florida. I have found some apartments online but i have not had any chance to go down south to take look at them. Is there any apartments that you guys can recommend for me to check out once i head over there. i am not familiar with area and i will really appreciate it for people who know the area well or have heard of good places to stay. Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure if I want to go to nova, is it really worth the student loan?

Yeah it is but I think at the end of the day you are getting what you paid for.

Nova grads are very well prepared for the NCLEX. The nurses that I have seen hired in the ER have all become very good nurses as recent grads.

I applied to Baptist Scholars program, I'm waiting to get a call for my interview. The deadline was June 15th

Hi everyone!! So I recently applied for the fall program and I got a called saying that program is already full so process will be for spring. I still have to take a couple of science classes and I apply without having registered yet. Can that be a reason to be rejected? Is there an entrance exam?? I was told it is only the interview?? I took my classes a few years ago and I'm afraid that may be a disadvantage to get in the program since they may want students that are more fresh. Anny comments please??

Thank you for the update. how long it took you from the day you apply to get an interview? would they give you an interview even if you have not finish pre-req??

I'm in the same boat. I met with an advisor there to apply for fall but the program is full. I'm missing a few classes as well that I plan to take during this summer and fall. The advisor did tell me that your allowed to apply when your taking the last pre-req classes you need because they'll be able to see that your in the process of taking those classes via your transcript. Also, he mentioned that if we are called for an interview we will need to take a Kaplan test and write an essay and then meet with someone for the interview. Good luck!
