Hello, I saw that there wasn't a thread created for the fall term 2018 in nova. I wanted to know if anybody is already studying for the test, and if so, what book are you using to study?

I haven't heard back yet. Hoping to hear soon, all my stuff has been in for a few months. That's so awesome about your interview! When is it for? :)

How exciting, yet nerve wrecking! And thanks!

I've read on other post from previous years that the questions have been different. 2013 the questions were about being a flower, sounds silly. But 2017s questions were if you have a child and get a call that they need you, but have a test at the same time what would you do?

I've been thinking about it a lot, I have two small children and it's a tough question for me. I think my first move would be to talk to the professor and take it from there.

Hi Leo! Nice to meet you also! I spoke to a lady named Catherine back in December, I dont remember her saying it was mandatory, but the NSU website somewhere said it was so I did it. I

When I did CAS it was for Winter2018, Catherine switched it for me to Fall2018.

Good evening, my name is Alejandro Suarez and I am currently finishing up my prerequisites for the entry program with the remainder of spring left and two more classes in the beginning of summer which is summer A.These classes would be done by June 16th and I was wondering if my application and my chances to now get an interview in the upcoming weeks can be in jeopardy for the fact that my prerequisites are not done and that I basically still need to finish the spring and summer A term. This would be doleful news since I am currently working very hard taking 6 classes per semester just to be able to finish in time.

Hey Alejandro,I'm doing the same thing as you! For the past two semester I've taken 6 classes and then I'm missing two more this summer. The people in charge at nova told me that's perfectly fine and that once you've selected your classes for the summer send your transcript so they know that you'll be taking them eventually. After that they should give you an interview date and that's what I'll be doing.

The people at Nova had told me to send in my transcripts now even though I wasn't done so I don't know.I sent an email to an advisor letting know my situation and let's see if she clears a few questions I have also

Oh wow, keep me updated then! They told me to do that to save myself some money as well.

This is what they said KennyCedeno

You are able to apply with classes in progress, however, all classes must show as complete or in progress. If you haven't registered for classes in the summer, you wouldn't be able to. Also, you need to show an overall GPA of 3.0 and a science GPA of 2.75 at the minimum. If you have many classes left to complete and this is hurting your GPA, you might want to consider applying when you have completed most of the prereqs. I hope this helps.
