Hello, I saw that there wasn't a thread created for the fall term 2018 in nova. I wanted to know if anybody is already studying for the test, and if so, what book are you using to study?

Hi!! I have my interview March 20 in the Miami Campus! For those who have been accepted, what did you guys wear for the interview? Do you guys remember any of the question in the science part of the Kaplan?

Also, what was the math based on? was there any college algebra or statistics on there?

What did you guys say when they asked "tell me about yourself"

I got my call this morning! ACCEPTED!! I interviewed march 13 ! It happened so fast. For everyone about to interview, do not worry! The staff is so welcoming.

I was contacted for an interview at Miami campus! I am not sure if I should go with March 27 or April 3rd. I am nervous about what I should wear and the kaplan.. I don't want to waste $ on a book so i might just use the internet and my a&p book. I have a 4.0 GPA and am transferring from MDC.

The sooner the better. Kate Barfield told me that Miami campus is half full. So definetly don't choose a date in April. Use Khan Academy and review the systems, it's very helpful. Really know the cardiovascular system and fluids/electrolytes. Some questions are basic but some are very specific which makes the test a little difficult but it's nothing we can't handle! And wear something professional. I wore slacks and a blouse

Okay I'll pick the 27th. I am not going to lie I struggle with math a little bit, can you tell me what kind of math problems I would expect?

The math was very basic. It had plenty of proportion questions along with some Adding,subtracting,multiplying and dividing fractions... also some questions on equivalent fractions for example, "3/4 is equal to which of the Following fractions?".

Do I need to bring my own calculator or is one provided on the test?

I have my interview March 20th and i'm pretty nervous and bee studying a lot for the Kaplan. I hope I get accepted

There is a calculator on the test. They also give you a piece of paper and a pencil.
